Someone told me yesterday that the E-145 was designed specifically to prevent 300-hr Chinese FO's from killing 50 people in back. I lol'ed, because it's probably true.

You know what, if you remember correctly about 5 months ago it you, me, Doug, Matt, Jhugz, and Blizzue having a drink a The Yard House.
Blizzue was about where I am now, a couple of weeks away from ground school. Remember what he said to me that night? "As soon as it will mean something I forward your stuff off ASAP"
5 months later I'm a couple of weeks away from ground, and I'll say the same thing. As soon as I get in there your stuff is as good as in.
Then maybe 5 months from now you'll be on your was to DFW, and you'll be ready to hook the next guy up.
Cuz' that's how we roll here!

My message was to Keith. It's kinda an inside joke between us. Over the years as he made accomplishments at Pan Am, now TransPac he post them in this forum.
And if I didn't post my congrats in an inordinate amount of time there was my good friend Keith calling me (teasingly) and asking me why I can post in other threads and not his.
So (teasingly) I would always post in his congratulation threads, but not make my post about him.
We always got a laugh out of it.

They told us on the phone that it is either going to be CRJ-700 @ LGA or EMB-145 @ ORD.
I'll take the CRJ @ LGA, as I'm a born and bread Nu Yorka.

I'd go CRJ-700, I hear great things performance wise. But I think the ERJ out of ORD has better trips.
Either way...have fun commuting!

Exactly, and as I have to commute I mind as well go where my family is.
Well, if you're in NY, we're going to have to go tear up LI one of these nights!
