This is a great site, thanks Doug Taylor.

I wonder how much money he makes on this site?

$100 billion dollars!

Oh I just flew with homeboy! I think he even left me a fart in the crew rest facility too.

Hey Doug.

First off, my apologies for the inappropriate link. I had no idea that my text would auto-generate a link. Who knew???

Hats off to SteveC for doing his job.

Now......secondly.....as an ALPA guy, why have you not implemented a national strategy to make me rich, handsome, and charming?

I blame you.

Jeff

Why's it always a brother's fault man? :)

Don't mouth off there, raisin boy!

Ok...I appreciate this site a great deal. Thanks to the Taylor's (Plural - not singular - I doubt Kristie is simply baking cookies and posting on the site once in a while leaving all the heavy lifting for Doug).

I have been thinking about the quote posted above. It doesn't matter how much money Doug makes...but I had an idea to enhance his income.

Sell "preferred memberships" to JC. Pay some amount annually and it will allow you special features. Not sure what these features could be - perhaps a special forum area where paid members can escape the rabble of free-loaders, or perhaps only allowing paid members to have graphics in their signature lines (which would address the bandwidth problems). Perhaps the membership fee could also give those who pay a different set of rules - like immunity from moderation. Maybe the "members only" forum could have NSFW pictures of girls? Perhaps at NJC, paid members could be given crowns (think Burger King) to wear so that everyone knows that are the shizzle? Certain members could be granted "preferred membership" status by virtue of their importance to the site - CalCapt comes to mind, as does T-cart (perhaps the highest time member at JC, and in a unique field - so we must keep him for his knowledge of Ag), and MJG407 (perspective of a unique career field, and the fact that he gave a job based primarily on networking at JC, so it feeds the core mission and gives tangible proof of "paying it forward" which can be used to attract more traffic to the site). Just a revenue generating thought.
