I didn't read the OP as saying he had already interviewed. I interpreted that he had applied and was awaiting an interview - my bad. I wouldn't expect my chances to be helped, though, if I went into an interview with AirTran and referred to them as ValueJet, or with Envoy and referred to them as Eagle. It's just not who they are anymore.

Yep. I could never go to the majors. Mostly because of guys like that. You mutter the wrong vocabulary word or make one simple mistake and they not only personally rake you over the coals but tell everyone including the chief pilot you could never be a captain. And those guys were the losers that got stuck at my last job. No thanks.

Every captain I've flown with except on OE still calls it US Air

I think we have a few still flying and saw some a couple weeks ago flying passengers. Unfortunately they will be leaving well before I get a chance to fly one.

Really? I get one every couple of trips... I kept one all day two trips ago. That was a fun day! We still have them and they're flying out of B-south now, no longer out of the A gates.
