Three minutes after we "recommended" the gate agent hold boarding since MX was blocking the path down the aisle, the captain gets a call from the chief pilot asking why ops called him to say we were refusing to board. That was a couple of years ago though, I think the "I give a poo" level has gone down quite a bit by all parties.

I very much enjoyed flying the -200 out of IAD. I learned a TON on that airplane. But so far I have been enjoying a bit more of a gentlemanly lifestyle in DTW. I seriously haven't had a single maintenance cancel yet. In IAD that was practically a daily occurrence.

in one month after being exiled to the NYC bases for the last 9 months, against my will! I'll be so happy to not have to commute to that festering 3rd world dump that is the boroughs of Long Island.
