I'm just repeating what I hear. What regionals fulfill EAS contracts?

Cape Air, Eagle, Mesa, SkyWest, Silver that I know of. Maybe Republic too but I'm not sure at all on that one. Nor do I know if ExpressJet does any of that. I'm just speaking from what I've read on the EAS docket for the past 2 years. Those specific companies have been listed as bidders. Sometimes though it can be listed as the mainline, like in Eagles case. AMR will bid on Joplin, MO but since Eagle is wholly owned the bid actually reads AMR using E145 airplanes. So look for that type of thing too, wouldn't surprise me to see the other majors do that.

I should have been more clear.

I'm not sure what aircraft they operate. MEAs here can be up to 16,000. Do they have aircraft that would be legal and capable to operate here?

Maybe "GREAT" Lakes should go down to the local Burger King and recruit some new pilots.

Then again I don't know if the burger boys would be willing to take the pay cut.

The management at Lakes has made it clear over the years just how dispensable pilots are to them so they should have no trouble finding people nowadays.

But they are having a hard time finding pilots. Why go to GL to make less than most other regionals out there? Required time is about the same....

180*???? I have never seen fluid that hot. Most operators keep it around 120 to prevent burns on accidental contact. I am sure It's been hotter, but when I look/ask, it's generally been about that.
