the official "waiting for FOL from MEM PEPC" thread

I just found out today that my HR rep (DT) has left the FAA in the last month. I last corresponded with him Aug 29. He told me then he was waiting on my sec clearance. I fortunately had another reps email address, so I sent her a note and she responded back that another HR rep (BR) has taken his work in the interim. My new HR rep said that according to my record they are still waiting on Medical and Security?!?!?!? All I can do is...:banghead:

Hmmm, interesting. Could you PM me the email address for your new HR rep BR?

A lot of people have been receiving phone calls/emails and so I'd like to know what's going on. (I've been waiting since the NY PEPC, terminal position, and my HR rep was DT)

Sept 11th was my last email with DT and Sept 25th Brenda called me with a date. I almost asked what happened to DT on the phone. Things will get done.
 
Received my FOL today via email with a enroute class date of December 5th. ;)

As with everyone else there was additional paperwork to fill out and return.
 
I just got my FOL via email today! I'm headed to OKC on December 19th!! I'm CTI, so I'm skipping the basics and going to initial en-route training.. oh, and my facility is ZTL. Anyone else joining me?

What were you geo prefs.? I am surprised you didn't get picked for ZME if TN was on of your prefs. But anyways congratulations.:)
 
I called down to my rep yesterday and she said that everyting was in except for my medical. I did have to submit some additional paperwork last week and she said it hadnt been cleared by the doctor yet. Anyone else have this? Any input on the timeline?

My geo prefs were (in this order) TN, OH, FL, GA, NC. So I have no clue how I got ZTL... I was actually hoping for either Memphis Center or Nashville Tower (I have family in both cities) but I'll take Atlanta, its not too far away and a little change never hurt anyone.
 
Congrats everyone (sorry sorta have been off reading other threads) and no, a little change never hurt anyone, I am moving 400 miles away to Stockton for my duty station

There is no "order" for geo prefs. All are of equal preference.
