The light turned on!

I think you're all wrong.

It's not what you call the soda/pop/coke/whatever, it's how much booze you put in it.

Dur.

Class dismissed! :bandit:

I

Remember, if a company has a union they earned it.

Quote of the century. If you treat your people right, they won't have any reason to organize for anything other than the company christmas party.

If/When I run my own company, hopefully I'll be able to treat my people well enough so that they won't ever need a union.

If they are so uptight and it sucks so bad and you are so indispensable then why not quit because it sounds like you could obviously do better.

You get paid more than you really have to since there are plenty of people who could do the job without the attitude for minimum wage so I don't understand how you can have such a massive sense of entitlement.

It's apparent to me now why this country gets lamer by the day.
Hint:
It's not because of business people who offer the miracle that is the air transportation system that enables me to travel around the world for pennies a mile.

I never got how some people call it a "coke"

"Can I have a Coke please?"

*hans them a Coca-Cola*

"No I want Pepsi!"

:dunno:

Mgmt blows it out of proportion. I seriously doubt a can of soda/water, etc is flying off the plane every leg. But there are situations that warrant it as well as just common freaking courtesy at times. It should be done at the crew discretion.

But I guess ever can of soda, bag of peanuts, etc that is saved is added directly ontot the CEO's bonus at the end of the year. :sarcasm:

Yet Southwest, who have the best employer-employee relations in the industry, is also the most heavily unionized carrier in the US. Every employee group has a union. Go figure.

I've always found that a little strange, never could figure out why. I talked to some of their FAs this summer (lifers there) and they were all about how awesome the company was.
