The Cherokee_Cruiser Pilot Hiring Grievance Thread

Give them a mirror and if they look at themselves glowingly, then they fail. If they say ewwww, and turn the mirror around, then they get the job

The problem with that would be the gouge companies. They would discover that “trick” within 24 hrs and immediately start coaching the most die hard narcissistic look-at-me Instagram dude/gals to turn that mirror in disgust.

Wrong.

There is no “trick” and heavily coached candidates roundly suck in the interview process.

They may suck, but at least one company feels so confident about passing a certain legacy shop’s interview process with their coaching/prep, they offer a money back guarantee.

Umm, good for them? Share a good laugh at the business and their clients.

If I had a crisp $20 for every person that claims to have the “key” to getting hired but, in all actuality, doesn’t know squat, I’d be very wealthy.

Coming from the dude that was never able to make the jump…then tries to convince everyone he’s happy where he’s at…even though it’s very obvious he’s just jealous of everyone that made it through the “rigged” system.

These are just personal attacks. Nothing to do with checkride failing or “handpicking DPE” which was your childish assertion.

Uh, pretty much all of them do.

I used a prominent one for my Delta interview in 2008. I didn't get the job. But I also did not hold them to giving me my money back. I placed the onus on myself that I didn't get hired and nothing that they did.

I also used them again for Purple and got the job.

“Who did you use to prep for the most recent go?”

Me: laughing hysterically.

They interview people coming out and get the updated/freshest gouge. The question bank, helping with TMAAT, written exam if any, etc. and back in the sim eval days, what the sim profile(s) looked like.

The key is going to be yourself and honest, but it’s that “be yourself” that too many people screw up in interviews. That’s were these companies come in and flourish.

It’s amazing how little you know about the process, yet keep beating your chest stating you’re an expert. Wild.

Fools gold and false expectations.

I don’t know how to put this nicely, but you’re literally a man with a megaphone, but your backpack of knowledge is full of off-brand crayons and Pokémon cards. You really haven’t the baseline knowledge to even understand an experienced discussion on the issue, certainly not participate.

Right?

Now if we only had a cat from American, it’d be a trifecta.

You can call it what you want. I still stand by it.

Where did I say I was an “expert?”

Because when you attempt to dispute those with domain expertise, you’re declaring your opinions “on par” with those with experience.

There are literally two people with that “domain expertise” in this thread who continually say you’re giving our deleteriously false information, yet you continue.

I know the game though. Crow about a topic you know little about because it’s going to attract certain people disenfranchised with the system, you have your Norma Rae moment, you get the attention you desire and no one actually gets the help and guidance they’re looking for.

We do this how many times per month?
