You can have my line, Chuck. I'm trying to get Denver or Chicago (jet). Gotta get the hell out of Fresno. It's draining the life out of me.
I feel your pain bro. My wife is giving me until June to get the hell out of
FresNO.

Mesa is already having (and has been for some time) trouble filling ground schools and they haven't even blinked ...

I agree, but getting people to show up in ground school is different than putting out money to train them and then having them bail.

At my regional, we estimated they spent an average of $1000/week on us, including pay, hotel (which mesa doesn't cover for the first 4 weeks or so) and instructor costs.

True, but it's still an indication of their corporate mentality. I mean a few people ditching groundschool is still nothing compared to the 9-month checkrides ("surprisingly" enough, right before the end of probation) they're (or were) giving with the sole purpose of thinning the herd. I mean, seriously, W..T..F..?

Don't even start. I've sucked it up for 3.5 years. Being here had a purpose, but it's been served.

Good luck to all interviewees.
And yes!! Medfly Rocks!!, I was hired there at 550TT and an A&P lisence.
