Mostly the Pawnee, which is a pretty easy airplane to fly. I want to go up in a Pitts sometime. FWIW, gliders are pretty much all taildraggers tooTotally unrelated, but watch this. The Blaniks can be a lot of fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zok7LltWU0E

I have been the passenger on the 8A. It was a fun ride. I have never landed one. They are a great value if you just want something to punch holes in the sky. My biggest memory of the ride was how I smelled like gasoline when I got out. It took mogas of course, and the fumes bombarded the cockpit. Stressed aerobatic too I believe.

Isn't there a big outfit in Winter Haven called tailwheels etc? They may have something worth checking out.

If we were hiring I would look favorably toward an applicant that has tailwheel experience. I think pilots that learned in one have better stick and rudder skills.
I learned to fly in a Cessna 140, instructed in PA-11s, and have over 600 hours in tailwheel aircraft. Too bad I have not flown one in over 15 years,

Sometimes I miss the obvious, and it makes me laugh.
Tail wheel time? Tons of it. Not as a pilot, mind you, but still crew.

There is, but I think most of their planes are not tailwheel. They have Warriors, 152s, 172s. I do know a few people there and went there for a few lessons. Lately, they haven't had a great record with planes though. They had 2 planes go down in about a months time. I saw the planes in Lakeland.
