Taboo For Pilots To Do Stuff While Cruising?

Sorry been on vacation for the last few days.

We are doing it all by paper and carbon copy now. We just recently started entering that information into an excel file as well which gets sent to the accounting department.

I appreciate it. No worries on the delay. I find it interesting that that the paper/carbon copy and the recency of the transition to Excel, but I'm seeing it all across aviation. I suppose as the old saying goes, "if it works, don't fix it." I've heard from multiple people that the manual method isn't terribly efficient and is prone to data entry/calculation errors. I'm still making sure that this is a problem that needs fixing, but so far it seems like it could benefit a lot of people & companies. Thank you all for your input.
