Exactly the same here. I also answered the question about have I answered everything truthfully as yes.I answered "Yes" because I have been asked to test...yesterday..

That is some BS! I answered honestly. I was invited to test YESTERDAY. So, with this method had I answered "no" and answered "yes" to the honestly question, I would have disqualified myself as well? The answer is no. That question basically asks if you were invited to test, however didn't pass or make it to the next round. By answering yes to that question, you disqualify yourself.
Yes, but they cancelled the other job requisition and just reissued it. All they were asking you to do, was to reapply under the new requisition, therefore your answers should have been the same from before. Just my .02.The question didn't ask whether I had tested, it asked whether I have been asked to test. Those are very different questions aren't they?
And I think that's wrong. Reiterate that one must fully re-apply. Nothing in the email said that. Nothing. Why should I be overlooked because of a mistake on their end? I shouldn't be. I was invited and then the offer is rescinded because I answered as I was asked to?Yes, but they cancelled the other job requisition and just reissued it. Your offer to test was not rescinded....it just said to reapply due to a change in the requisition right? And I think that's wrong. Reiterate that one must fully re-apply. Sure!If I call HR tomorrow can I correct this? It only seems fair.
A friend of mine, who builds and sales HR software that performs all this automated resume work, told me he thinks the software or a software admin sent out the Test offer email BEFORE they had actually screened the candidate paperwork for the basics. He said it is Waaaaay easier for them to just delete all the resumes and start over. Like I said, I could not see one single difference between the two job reqs.
I really think they just had a glitch and now we just have to start over. Honestly, it took me 3 mins to reapply. No worries.
