Love the avatar. It's time.Just bought a pair of the Serengeti Velocity online. Found a decent deal. Sounds like they will work great and I won't be disappointed.
Thanks for all the help and recommendations!

wildfreightess said:American Optical eyewear on Amazon. Roughly $50. When I was flying the 145, polarized lenses worked great. But when I switched to the 170, I either have to wear non-polarized or fly with my head cocked sideways! I've been happy with my AO sunglasses. Plus, they look "piloty."
You have to get the Aviators that are specifically non-polarized. The Peregrines only come in polarized, I believe. Just take them back to Costco and get another style on line. There are a couple of models/styles and sizes of the non polarized Aviators available.I just bought a pair of Serengeti Pergine's at Costco. I liked the look of them better than the Aviator's but as soon as I put them on in the 170, the screens went black! I could have sworn the Aviator's said polarized so that's why I went with the Pergine's. I'm hoping they make a non-polarized Pergine but I've had no luck searching.
AO Optics are about $50 on Amazon. I like my M Frames, I've had them for about 12 years now and they're still kicking.
