Sully movie

Another clip.

I think I'll see it eventually. Will probably wait for it to come to redbox or Netflix. Tom Hanks is a phenomenal actor and I've enjoyed most of Clint Eastwood's movies.

Wow, I am surprised at how many of you like the chick flicks that Tom Hanks did. So nice to see those soft sides! :D
Somehow I thought chick flicks were torture...now I know that might not be the case. ;)

Tom Hanks is a great actor. He can be an astronaut, Forrest Gump, or pretty much the only guy in the movie.

Overall I don't really care about celebrities, but the man is a master of his craft.

From this trailer it looks like they did a good job portraying our livelihood with this film. I'm eager to see it.

The wikipedia page states they lost both engines at 3,220'. The Sully trailer I think said 2,800'... (Not trying to discount your classmate in any way! Just wondering if I missed something?)

Nope, you are correct. I watched the vid after I posted. Great accident analysis though. Sad that Stefan quit flying after the crash. He flew F-104s with the Danish AF.

I got an 8 hour lecture on how the jews are destroying the world the other month.

Must be the radiation.

Wow, I would have shut that down with cat like quickness. I don't want to be stuck in a cockpit, held hostage. Hearing about your racism, your fancy Pyramid scheme. I don't want to be witnessed, to or "saved." Don't want to hear about your politics, or how much money you have, your second business. Or how rich you are compared to me, or anyone else.

Lol, but that's just me. Would make for a horrible experience.

Captive audience. I didn't say a word the whole flight.

I heard the finer points of how slavery in America started as indentured servitude and "while I wouldn't like to see it return, I don't think it was an abomination. It was necessary because of the economy."

Can't wait to be off probation.

Well, he was right. It was that way for the Irish. But even some of them were eventually brought over from Ireland, and sold into true slavery.

But that kind of stuff is always easier to handle, or excused when it's someone else, and not you. Or your loved ones. Sheeh.
