I don't think he said anything "against" regional pilots, personally. He repeatedly noted on many different occasions that experience and training is closely linked to safety in operation. Some folks were offended by it.

I agree with what he has had to say. But pilots can be some of the sorriest, whiniest, bemoaning their lives, woe is me, people on the damn planet.

That's a fact. Some of the fellow pilots I know could be sitting on a pile of gold and still find something to complain about.

If sport-bitching was an Olympic game, pilots would win every time.

This is one I might watch when it hits network television; that is as long as a rerun of anything else isn't airing at the same time!
