Suggestions for flight bag

I saw a guy in our school today (Don't know if he was there for the pilot shop, a BFR, as a new student, or what) and he had a HUGE bag! Actually, it was more like four or five bags hooked together. Looked like a sherpa. The thing seriously had to be three feet long by a foot and a half wide by three feet tall. It took two shoulder straps to carry it and he grunted when he picked it up.

I'll still stick with my little bag and the few odds and ends that it carries. What in the world could he have needed that much space for?!

I do carry a pretty huge flight bag, but most of it gets left in the car once I'm at the airport. Since I do alot of long XC flights, I do like having room for everything on earth!!

Two of my must haves were a pair of pliers (sometimes I'd get the plane right after a long X-Country and the oil "cap" (I dunno what to call it) would be either really hot or screwed on there really tight. That thing came in handy a lot surprisingly enough.

Oh and after doing pre-flight and running my hands all over a filthy airplane and getting oil and whatnot all over my hands I'd have a little bottle of Purell in my bag to "wash up".

And even though I've never been on any x-c's I'd take one of those disposable cameras for the hell of it just to snap off a few shots. Of course you would be flying the plane first but if someone's along for the ride....

I've got the Sky High bag and love it. Holds two headsets (One of them being a Lightspeed 20 3G, so it can hold big ANR headsets fine), and more stuff than I care to think about right now. You'll fit whatever you need in it.

Which sky high bag do you have?

Iron Eagle...A teenage boy steals a fighter jet with the help of some fellow military brats and one military officer. He flies to the middle east to save his dad...very realistic quality 80s entertainment

And a movie that Lou Gosset Jr. calls one of his best ever.

I guess he needed the money?

Well yeah but I was more referring to the cap that the dipstick is attached to...but hey that works.
