best one we ever had in chicago was when some jagoff AAL captain accused us of vectoring the 14R traffic at a lower than normal altitude and disturbing his day off .i stood at the ops managers desk and listened to the conversation and every time one would go by he would say that one too low but looking at the radar they were all were they should have been alt wise.

I was curious so I did a google search. That Bud Beachem prick seems like the old lady who wouldn't throw the neighborhood kids' baseballs back over her fence.

I sent him an email just to be an arse.
 
I think it's funny that the people that complain about aircraft noise and want to close airports...are the same people that don't understand why they can't fly directly to another major airport in a large plane for very little money from close to home...it's pretty funny.

Really, I've never had a problem at Massey. I don't usually fly too late though. New Smyrna has great controllers, but the noise abatement is kind of a pain. We wanted to do t&gs on a Sunday and were told you can't because of NA. We just went and did them at Massey instead.

Sigh and facepalm all you want Capt Picard... I just told him that the layout of his website was garbage and that even if I wanted to read it that it was rape on the eyes... nowhere did I mention to him that I was a pilot.
 
Wow that lady in SA on youtube and the guy in FL are off their rockers. Good entertainment though.

One of my favorite complaints came from a lady who called up the FBO I was instructing at last year to complain that we were emptying our lav's in air and making her white picket fence brown and that she was going to call the FAA on us. We explained that none of our aircraft have bathrooms onboard as they are all 172's and 182's. She said she didnt belive that and was going to report us anyway.

Goooooood luck with that one.


Oh I have a friend at DTW tracon who received a complaint one day after an airshow at a nearby airport that wanted to FAA to pay for a new roof for his house because the Blue Angels flew so low over his home the F-18 blew alot of shingles off his roof.

Hey Guys,

Seriously, you know you have a winner of a Youtube and/or Web page when you A) Block comments, even from registered users, and B) Block IP addresses when they ping your page more than once.

Not to display my uber geekness, but if you ever spent any time over at the TrekBBS site, or similar, you probably heard of a guy who REALLY hated the NuBSG series. He had his own web forum, where only he could post, and if you went to his site more than once, he'd ban your IP address.

True story man! I read the report once that they found that within 10 years there would surely be many more homicides than a realistic number of fatalities from plane crashes if they built housing where the airport was. One time I flew in and people were picketing at the mall in front of the runway. I rocked my wings and waved at them out the window.
