CRTs vs. LCDs.Eh, I've been using polarized glasses for years....in several different 'glass' systems. Works fine for me. However, it really just depends on the orientation of the panels.

What kind of headsets does jet blue have? At airways we have seinheiser. They are halfway decent.I'm the same as @Snuggle minus the Ray Bans. I'm a die hard Serengeti guy.
Use the company headsets (after using the sanitizer wipes), but I'll only take them off on long legs at cruise.
If you've got the taller Luggage Works bag and you're the FO, you'll either have to put it in an overhead or swap with the CA if he's got a 22" bag. It won't fit behind the FO seat of the 190. Found that out the hard way, but it fits the 22" bag perfectly.
It all depends on what the manufacture of the glasses and displays used. Most glasses are vertically polarized, and if the display is also (manufacturing process) not as big a factor until you twist your head. But it sounds like the jet in question mounted the displays sideways, or they were made with horizontal polarization, and all of a sudden you have a King Air passenger window in full dark mode.Agreed. The E-jet however definitely won't work. Not sure what's different.
SeanD said:I used to see people at XJT put on those company provided, dirty ass DCs without swabbing them down first. Made me cringe a little.

Idiots.
The worst offenders leave them in the empty seat or hanging on the chart holder for you though, how nice - I get to toss the pieces of junk in the cubby hole.

Amazing how even grown adults fail to pick up after themselves.

At least they unplugged it and wrapped up the cord first.

I wouldn't be so definitive with polarized lenses not working in the E-jet.
They might not work for you, however, I wear polarized lenses with no problems at all.
CRTs vs. LCDs.
Hmmm, that may be. I know the Saab had CRT's and my polarized worked fine. Q400 and Le Bus have LCD's and again, fine with the polarization. Perhaps I've been lucky?
I know it can be an issue. However, to say "you can't wear polarized glasses" is absurd. I've always used polarized glasses and have been lucky enough to not have a problem. Like I said previously, it's all about the orientation of the panels.
Seriously dude (@Autothrust Blue ) figure those out, and you figure out 90% of the automation.Someone one time told me it has to do with the orientation of the polarization.
I can say from experience polarized glasses don't work in the EJet. That was years ago, so maybe they're changing tubes.
All @Autothrust Blue needs to learn about is Speed T and Speed E
Ehhh I'd say 89% there's alot of other crap goin on too. Just remember to make sure you're in Speed T if you're hand flying with them on.Seriously dude (@Autothrust Blue ) figure those out, and you figure out 90% of the automation.
