Stalking is bad, mm’kay

Seeing the stuff that goes on in a lot of the female aviator groups, this is 0% surprising. This is super common.

There are also many instances of women having a superior come on to them and then threatening to fire them if they don't comply.

Like, new stories every other day.

F—ING STOP IT.

We have a male CA who apparently does this to younger male FOs and hasn't been reprimanded. No threats, but messaging them on social media and generally harassing them.

Wow, kudos to thread starter. This crosses multiple disciplines, Cargo and Passengers, touches some nerves with Cherokee about newhire Delta pilots. I mean this is good. Even crosses international border (I think there is still a border there until Jan 20th?), I mean whats going on in Canada?

On serious side, If im having a 20 min convo over dispatch about someones safety, I am going to have the police meet the airplane. (And not a British Soldier with smooth bore rifle)

Sat phone is the way to go. I’ve used it for so many reasons; order a pizza to the FBO, make a CBP arrival notice, call the D.O. to maintain operational control, and security issues. Everything on VHF is monitored somewhere and transcribed to a blog. Shoot, you don’t even use names with the radio at certain FBOs because their frequencies are monitored by paparazzi.

“20 minutes out, overnight, service the lav, dropping off two, there should be a black Tesla for Taylor…”. Try that in Nashville or Kansas City today and you’d have every Swiftie from three states away there hoping to catch a glimpse of T Swift but instead they’d get to see a dude that runs this website.

That's who I was hoping to see.

Reminds me of one of my corporate flying stories. It was one of my first big boy PIC gigs as a contract pilot flying part of the tour for a well known pop group of brothers that teenagers also love to swoon for. One of their wives was tagging along to this specific concert. Just like you mentioned, after a fairly anonymous in range call, we pull up to the FBO, they get on their bus, and head off to the concert. One of the ramp guys, of Indian nationality or at least descent, comes up super excited and asks about the lead singer's wife, who is a super famous Indian actress. I tell him that yes, it was indeed her, but to please be discreet about it and don't approach them. They're here to work and will probably be tired and just wanting to go home. Sure as • when the bus pulls up a few hours later he runs for her as soon as she gets off. I've never seen someone's face hit the pavement so fast as in the blink of an eye their head of security had tackled him. She was actually super nice about it after the fact and even took a couple of pictures with him. I thought that not fanboying over customers was part of FBO 101 training but apparently not.

I heard that ramper is a Delta 330 FO now.

Definitely a rookie move on their part.
