St. Charles

Well, I took the AT-SAT today . . . . . . and bombed it. At least I think.

I did well on the Dials, and then the Math came. I got the first ten questions, but then bombed the rest. I'm sure I calculated some of them wrong, and I had to guess on like eight questions at the end. For everyone who hasn't taken the test yet - the practice rounds DO count against your total time. It's better to skip the practice and go straight for the test problems in Math. Scan I totally bombed. It was very different from the online game (much more difficult) and I couldn't deal with it. The range changed very frequently and there were far more planes than in the JJ version. I don't think I got half of the planes I was supposed to get. Letter Factory sucked - I missed moving boxes numerous times, and I was completely lost on the "situational awareness" questions - I totally guessed on 90% of them. AT Scenarios started out OK but then turned disastrous. I crashed NUMEROUS planes (I was the only one in the room to crash) and my scores were ABYSMAL! My scores were 75, 36, 79, and 74. Analogies was what everyone made it out to be - a total crapshoot. I think I did OK on the word analogies, but totally guessed on the pictures. Personality was a non-factor (I hope).

Anyway, I can confidently say that WQ, and even Q, are out of the question. The only issue is how spectacularly I sucked. I'm guessing that my score is in the 50-60 range, if that, but 30-40 is certainly within the realm of possibility. Im so disappointed that I didn't perform very well. I guess I'm just not cut out to be an Air Traffic Controller. Back to the job search for me.

you probably did fine. like many people on here..they felt like they did really bad but ended up getting a 90 or above. i thought i did really bad but ended up getting a 87.

Nope, you weren't. I took it as well today and crashed some myself. I took the test last year and got a qualified score and took it again today to try to get WQ.

When I took it last year, I walked out thinking I bombed it as well. I didn't do great, but I did get a Q score. This year I walked out feeling a little better, but only because I knew going it what to expect. Do I think i did better this year? haha no! It kicked my ass. Just have to wait to see if it kicked my ass as bad as it did before lol.
 
Anyone from St. Charles get their score back yet? I took mine on the 3rd and still no word. It's driving me :insane:
 
Nope, not yet. I'm trying to limit my obsessive checking of ASAP, but so far that isn't turning out so well lol.
 
are you sure you're looking in the right place? seems like most people that have taken the test got it back within a week..got mine in 1 business day after i took it.
 
Yea, I'm pretty sure I'm looking in the right place. Front page of ASAP and also under test information. However, still nothing. It figures that it will be my proctor that will wait the maximum amount of time to post the scores. But, I know, waiting is the name of the game. Still sucks.
 
Hey Flyingwriter, I just saw some guy over on SM that took his test in St. Charles on the 5th and has his score back already. Hmmmm, hope they didn't screw up.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they dorked up my scores. Time to call Aviation Careers.
 
If you took it on the 3rd, it's been 6 days, minus the weekend. I wouldn't worry about it, they'll probably show up in a day or two.
 
Between looking on here and stuckmic, it seems that people who took it on the 5th and 6th have gotten scores back, yet those of us who took it on the 3rd in St. Charles, IL have not, for some reason.
 
Is this a part of the MMPI...waiting for my scores to come in? If the wait is very much longer, I'm going to fail...:insane:
