Oh... bite me. One big reason I applied, as I now have to drive close to a 700 miles. Instead of .5 miles.

I have to drive 447mi. You should take 94 down to STC and we can just meet up and drive down together, split the cost.

I was wondering if it was St. Charles, IL or MO. I graduated from St. Charles High School in IL. Seems like an odd place to have the test instead of down at the regional office in Des Plaines.

Out of all of us taking it in IL, how many of us are planning on putting IL as one of our geoprefs? I'll be putting IL along with IN for mine.

I'm putting AK and MI as my geo-prefs. I really want Fairbanks, so I'm putting AK - Fairbanks North Star Borough as my first choice.
 
Nice...I've heard that AK is beautiful...just don't believe my wife would be willing to make that move.

Are you going to be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn where the test is the night before? Let me know if you are and maybe we could have a drink at the hotel.
 
I thought for AK you had to go through a different PUNBAT.

I'll be putting down IA, the only facility I want is DSM.

There were two special PUBNATS - PUBAK and PUBHI - that allowed people to apply specifically for Alaska and Hawaii due to a lower number of applicants and a higher need. You can still put AK and HI on your geo prefs if you'd like to go to either one.

I'm staying at the Days Inn just down the street. Yeah, maybe we could grab a beer at the hotel.
 
yeah, sorry, 14th here.

I would meet you in STC, but bringing the girlfriend along as well, and we're spending an extra day in Madison, WI on the way back to visit family.
 
Took the test today in St. Charles. Went pretty well, was done by 1:30p. Good luck to all who have upcoming tests!
