You can transfer fuel from tank to tank in flight.. Can you do this in other planes, I.E. airliners and the like? I just steep bank the wings in the 172's i fly

Learjets have at least 3 fuel tanks (some have 3, some have more), and you can transfer fuel anywhere you like while in flight.

Huh? You can cross flow with the return motive flow going into the other tank. I guess you're not directly pumping it over there, but it's still transferring it. The CRJ has a more robust capability in this department including a handy little auto cross flow that. It still amazes me that Embraer couldn't get an auto xflow figured out.I know the Embraer products can't. Ok nerds, it's not designed too...
I'm going to go out on a limb by my jumpseat trips in the CRJ, but doesn't look they can either.
