Oh god, you're bringing me flashbacks to a 11 week debacle trying to get an ALPA email account created for a volunteer of mine with what I would have thought is a very unique name and it turned out there's one at United and another one somewhere else, leading to believe individuals that said email was already created when in fact it was not. It went on for way too long. If he had been "Mike Smith" or "Bob Jones" I think I would have figured out the problem earlier, but playing email tag and his not actually that unique name, it was a charlie foxtrot...
