Dude, I remember very well what it was like when I finally soloed. It was the coolest thing -- I had been one flight away from doing it for months, but then the weather got in the way and I wouldn't fly for two or three weeks, so guess what happened on that next flight?

Kind of nice to do it by yourself, and man, does that plane jump off the runway without the extra passenger, huh?

As for the shirt thing, there is a very ugly lime green shirt from some random band that opened for the Cult that is hanging on the wall at the FBO where I soloed.
