I saw a Korean 777 do a hard landing here at LAS a few years ago. I counted 4 bounces. The winds were calm.
Excellent story!

A good way to find your way into PIO is to over control on a landing to try to "save it" sometimes its best to throw in the towel and take what you've got. *BAM*
Ahem! Ah, reference the post above about Snakes on a plane - I see the profanity filters are workng well.......Just saying.

Many in the US are worried with the trend of 500 hr wonders flying around near the speed of sound with 50 souls in the back.
Here's what you get in Korea with a 300hr wonder who has 250 lives in their hands:clap:

Sorry to gofftopic: , but is there some reason SO many people have that avatar?
Not to pick nits, but I've watched the video several times now. And even at high resolution, I don't see the pilots logbook shown anywhere. :dunno:Here's what you get in Korea with a 300hr wonder who has 250 lives in their hands:clap:

Really?
I'm not supporting 300hr pilots in the right seat of a heavy however they really have no choice in most of these countries. Experience is key however if they are going to put low time guys in the right seat at least they are trying there best not to kill a boat load of people. I think our training departments have a lot to learn about mentoring and observing rather then get the guy online as quickly as possible.
