Hell, I used to take off the tie, put on a sweater and go right to sleep. I know guys that would take off all items that make them look like a pilot. No need to ansewer questions when only getting a fraction of what you should get paid.
Do you guys think it's unprofessional to sleep on a deadhead? I was starting to nod off yesterday, but kept thinking that somehow I was being unprofessional by sleeping in uniform on a deadhead.
Thoughts?
Why? Isn't that what they do in the cockpit when the AutoPilot is turned on?![]()

Nope! Not at all.
Now picking your nose or gawking at well-endowed passengers, yes.
What about making sure you get a window seat because you are a pilot??anic:
Rumor is its something else. Aren't you an FA, haven't you been invited up yet?![]()
Yeah, I've heard that rumor! And yes, I am a newly-minted FA but I haven't been invited up yet.
Is there a secret code word I should use?

Well, good to know.. I figured there was no problem with it, but I just felt like the passengers were looking at me thinking "he's a pilot! He can't be sleeping!" But then again I'm only a few days into IOE, and still in that phase where I feel like everyone is looking at me because I'm in uniform...
