SkyWest Interview Question...

From reading some of the gouges, it sounds like it gets pretty technical, so I'm wondering if they focus more on the most complex aircraft you've flown or your most recent one? It's been over a year since I've been in a Seminole, but I'm sure I probably won't luck out with just explaining 206 systems. :)

Also, any suggestions on sources for Jepps studying?

As far as systems to study; I would be able to draw / explain the basics about electrical, hydraulic, landing gear systems for the most recent aircraft you flew. I was in a similar spot as you; the most recent plane I flew was a 172N, so I dug up Baron systems and studied those.

I vaguely remember having the option; I'd imagine if you knew the 206 in and out that would be fine. And maybe be able to explain a retractable gear system.

Oh my gosh, those links are great!! I kept an old set of Jepps, purely for studying purposes, but unfortunately they're in a storage unit in Dallas. Thanks!

Interview sked' for 04/26. Anybody else?

I got a call today to expect a call for an interview next week...I'd be happy to hear any info you have to pass on after yours. Good luck!!

Thanks Ophir for the link, too. I've just got a couple more to go through before I'm finished. A lot of good info!

your times?

1380tt, 200 multi, 115 instrument, but I'm also a former employee with some internal recs. I'm sure that's helping out a bit.

Forgot to add, she mentioned on the phone that as of May 1st, they're going to start requiring ATP written before coming to the interview.

Done. Now if only the ME requirements drop to 65.

I wouldn't count on it. Even back in 2007 when the hiring was MUCH more aggressive everywhere it still didn't drop below 100. I still have the rejection email from Camielle to prove it!

I guess it worked out for you 2nd time around.

Also, I had a couple buddies call and say they're having an open house at the hangar in SLC on May 12th for those interested. I haven't looked for the info, so if anyone has trouble finding it, let me know and I'll see what I can help with.
