I mean, it's not a bad jumpseat.Nah. It's really not that long from anywhere in CA to CO. Now the ATL-ASE flights we do are another story!

I'd rather ride on the Moulson jet jumpseat than on the 737 jumpseat.I've had worse. Honestly, the 737 jumpseats really aren't any better. I've done that from FLL-DEN a couple times, and it is truly terrible.
I've done DTW to PHX in a 737 jumpseat and it was not the most comfortable 5hrs of my life. It also doesn't help that I'm 6'5''I've had worse. Honestly, the 737 jumpseats really aren't any better. I've done that from FLL-DEN a couple times, and it is truly terrible.

I've spent more time on the #2 jumpseat up there than I care to remember.I feel your pain in the height department. I've done LAX-ATL in the 737 jump, about half way there the Captain asked if I was doing alright. I told him I was great, my ass went numb an hour ago so if anything is hurting, I have no idea.

As Eric Cartman would put it, "Ow! You guys! Seriously! My ass!"Ultimately if it gets me where I'm going I'll gladly take it and shut my mouth but in the scheme of jumpseats, I tend to repress the memories of time spent in that particular seat.
I call Houston the Swamp, for it is humid.Swamp?
I actually left the Mormon Air Force for a new gig recently that either way offers a raise and hopefully turbine PIC + connections to the training department, which will hopefully equate to additional duties outside the flying realm.

Oh, no kidding. Congrats.
Our mutual friend on the Brasilia is still waiting for Skidoo IOE. I'd call that winning. They let me bid for next month, and I'll be done next week :SThanks! I ended up chickening out on the swamp commute and went for Denver for a few months until this new thing spun up rather quick.
Ouch. Jesus.I've spent more time on the #2 jumpseat up there than I care to remember.

I'm packing the last bits of SoCal up this week. Floating a bit. The last few months have been a financial strain but for the next few months I'm in an inexpensive place.I heard that, he seems happy to have the time at home though. Are you officially SFO based or are you going to commute it for a bit?
I'm living near sfo, that seems like a solid idea. Anyone else like the possibility if a meet up of sorts? Are you in SFO or ORD? Perhaps a NJCSKW is in order.
I don't drink airplane coffee.![]()
