I've met the man once. I said hello, and then he told me to fetch him a large coffee(light sugar). After I got him his coffee he ordered me to do his walk-around for his flight to Kiev. He later told me if I'm ever lucky he'll let me buy him lunch and actually sit with him in the cafeteria.

Apparently that guy has been on another board preaching gloom and doom for the past year. None of his predictions have come true yet. But he has credible sources from the inside of DL mngt.

This can't be true since I only been talking about Comair for about 5 months at best. And what I have been talking about has been coming true. I am telling you that Comair will not be around by the end of this year and I have always stayed with that.

Just so the people on here are clear, I am not wanting anything bad to happen to your job. That is why I have been telling all at Comair to be ready for the bad that is about to happen. A warning if you will. Try to get on with another airline while you still have a job. However, people like you dont see the train coming down the track and I am telling you to move out of the way.

The way the rumor mill has been heating up, I believe the doom and gloom. Someone posted we are losing 50 a/c to SkyWest. 98-50 is 48. If Comair survives after that, there will be tons of furloughs, including me, but I don't care. I do care about other Comair employees who want to keep their job. Guess all we can do is sit back and wait for this announcement that is supposed to come this week.

PS, one in 3 chance I'll make it to NJC. The wife had an awesome idea. I'm still entitled to 4 moving days because of my relocation to IAD. I have to give them 3 choices and I will make NJC one of them.

I don't pay attention to rumors. We were going to be merging with comair, then taking Mesa's planes (not cool), then for sure we were getting Mesaba or Compass. Then out of friggin nowhere comes Expressjet.
If you've heard it...its probably not happening. Its the stuff that isn't rumored that comes out of nowhere and makes you go "wtf?" Like the sale of Mesaba and Compass.

My source is from somewhere in the system. I use Delta, ASA and any other airline to throw you off as to where the source is from.
ASA did become the super regional that was predicted. They have around 4300 pilots and now is around 90 aircraft shy from the 500.
It will get worse for Comair. Look for the decline then look for the END. Thats right by the END of THIS YEAR....:rawk:
Ok, lets look...I stated that by the end of this year Comair would be shut down. You guys brought back furloughs, not because of growth, but because of the base in JFK closing. The company expected to lose people for this reason. The news you got was the closing of JFK. Now CVG is not looking good. Delta could not close Comair down during the summer due to the travel demand.Hate to do it but let's go to the video tape:
