How does piper do it on the metal airplanes? I'm familiar with how to do it on a cub.

On the Cherokees the flap pushrods are hex shaped and have a reverse thread on one end. You go to the “heavy” wing and lengthen the flap pushrod until the airplane flies wings level.

To be faaaairrrr Cessna sort of fixed it on the Caravan, at least the eccentric is one piece so you don’t have two separate inaccessible parts you have to rotate perfectly in sync.

Ah cool. That's how the new airplane does it to.

Your google skills need improvement.
2600ish lbs with full fuel.
5100 ish max payload.

The Twotters bread and butter is the back country with poor runways, or using roads.

Cessna’s Skydingle I hope does well.

You'll get over it.

Credit to this blog for providing it, but I was just thinking of how much this could compete with a Twin Otter which is a plane I know I'd love to fly and I wonder how long before anyone might be using it as a jump plane or if it'd be overkill.

Also I had no idea the Indonesians put together the similar N-219 which also looks like something that could maybe outclass the Twin Otter.

By numbers alone, it's kinda 'meh'
With the ability to quickly load LD3's, it'll be a winner with FedEx at least.
Reduced cost per hour are likely a big bonus.

It seems like it could haul a ton and I wonder about it being viable on flying passengers between islands.

I'm not sure if it'd have been better to make its own thread, but I'm looking forward to seeing what 408 pilots will make at the feeders.

Same here. I bet it will be somewhere in between C208 and ATR PIC pay. So probably around 60k.

True, but C208 performance numbers are nothing special and they have sold a lot over the years.
