How does piper do it on the metal airplanes? I'm familiar with how to do it on a cub.“OK I think I got a stack up of extensions that will get on there now your dot is at about 1100 right? On the Cherokees the flap pushrods are hex shaped and have a reverse thread on one end. You go to the “heavy” wing and lengthen the flap pushrod until the airplane flies wings level. How does piper do it on the metal airplanes? I'm familiar with how to do it on a cub.
To be faaaairrrr Cessna sort of fixed it on the Caravan, at least the eccentric is one piece so you don’t have two separate inaccessible parts you have to rotate perfectly in sync. How does piper do it on the metal airplanes? I'm familiar with how to do it on a cub.
Ah cool. That's how the new airplane does it to.On the Cherokees the flap pushrods are hex shaped and have a reverse thread on one end. You go to the “heavy” wing and lengthen the flap pushrod until the airplane flies wings level.
Your google skills need improvement.
2600ish lbs with full fuel.
5100 ish max payload.
The Twotters bread and butter is the back country with poor runways, or using roads.
Cessna’s Skydingle I hope does well.
By numbers alone, it's kinda 'meh'
With the ability to quickly load LD3's, it'll be a winner with FedEx at least.
Reduced cost per hour are likely a big bonus.
I'm not sure if it'd have been better to make its own thread, but I'm looking forward to seeing what 408 pilots will make at the feeders.
Is this really just a modernized Dornier 228?
Yeah it is but I meant in performance-ishClean sheet design... I thought?
True, but C208 performance numbers are nothing special and they have sold a lot over the years.By numbers alone, it's kinda 'meh'
