This isn't a tentative agreement. This is a pay raise with a vote that attempts to keep unions at bay. If we voted no then this is what would have happened. Either 1) the union gets voted in and we fly the -700/900 for 50 seat compensation during the 2-4 years it takes to negotiate a contract, or 2) the union doesn't get voted in and managment refuses to talk about pay for ANOTHER X years.
Personally I'm more affraid that option 3 will win. Vote in this rediculous "raise" and vote to keep ALPA out. I'll wager on it happening now. Unfortunately it seems the younger guys at SKYW got sold up the river by some of the older guys.
