I was telling someone about flying that route the other day. Crazy enough we eventually just became filler flights on the CRJ-900 during the time of the day the MD-88 wasn’t flying it.Agreed - plus all remnants of ASA's old ATL network that still live on. Europe would make AGS-ATL illegal, as they should.
Off topic but as much as it probably sucked for mainline pilots schedule wise it was nice to see more of those stations get mainline flying.
More train service in parts of the US would make sense but I doubt it’ll happen. The airlines will raise hell and folks have displayed they have no issue with sitting in standstill traffic or dealing with parking, going through security and possible delays to get somewhere. Archaic if you ask me but wtf do I know
