Signing someone off for a written using my AGI endorsement

Re: Signing someone off for a written using my AGI endorseme

Good question. I didn't even realize the knowledge exam was counted in that "pass rate" issue. Shows ya how much I know.

its not

Go to the FSDO and get a print out, they wont be there, hell testing centers don't even take the info off the endorsement.

A "Written" test is a Knowledge test, not a practical

hmmm, we are supposed to get a copy of it and keep it in our files for 2 years. Doesn't get sent to the FSDO, i'm sure if they had an issue with an instructor (GI or CFI) they could get the signoffs if they wanted to. They have never asked for them.

right

the only way to track that down is through your (the instructor) records and the endorsement you give the student

the FAA has no record of written test endorsements that they can go looking through at will

I meant the 'we' in that last one as the test center. But yes, there are no 'easily accessible' endorsements for the feds to browse through.
