Took my girlfriend on a Bay Tour yesterday for her birthday, got some cool shots, figured I'd share. :)

T2 where VX and AA park. New and old towers side by side.

SFO's newly remodeled Terminal E at T3, I control the gates on the left hand side at work.

Terminal C where Delta and Frontier park.

United's F-pier at T3. Skywest pilots, note the mess that is the "new" gate 84. Enjoy it.

The B pier at T1, used by US/FL/WN/AS/QX/OO. Skywest will be leaving soon for T3.

Virgin America A320 crossing in front of me over San Francisco. This is the same plane that is departing 1L in my pic of Term B.

Former Pan Am Clipper port on Treasure Island, next to the Bay Bridge. Hangars and Terminal still there.

Closed NAS Alameda, now pretty much a set for Myth Busters. I got to max out a Jag on runway once, that was awesome.

KLM MD-11 climbing out over the Ocean looking at the Sunset District and Sutro Tower.

The usually foggy but always awesome Half Moon Bay Airport. In the 60s, SFO fogged in around Christmas for 2 weeks and PSA flew Electras from SFO-LAX from here pre-TSA of course. One hell of a story.

Crossing over the 30 numbers at SQL looking at the FBO/terminal. Surf Air on the bottom left.

I do most of my flying at night, so it was a treat to see everything in the daylight. My girlfriend had a smile on her face the whole time, a Bay Tour is always a great date. And when we got down, I made Foxtrot for the first time since my year-long hiatus from flying. Good date. :)

Great photos from the region where I learned to fly and now fly professionally.

Regarding that tidbit on Half Moon Bay, I think it goes without saying: PSA>TSA

Actually, just about anything>TSA. Except maybe AIDS... Maybe.

Is gate 84 the one where it looks like a large murder occurred?
Yep. Good luck with that if you ever park there. I'm sure the pax will love 200 yard walk to line up at the steps of the RJ/Bro in the pouring rain. United really hates its pax it would seem.

Do you work any of the areas that QX uses when we go there?

Great pics!
Thanks, and yes, Sunday will be my last shift in my current tower and I will then be working the "A" tower which controls the QX gates. Just PM me when you're coming thru after this next week if you want pics, not sure what my hours will be yet.
