The Prowler is similar looking and a bit larger. Main difference among other things are the two extra seats in back and the jamming pods vice bombs on the wings. Although it was developed from the intruder body.

Yeah, I took that picture on one of four form flights we had. The T-6 rocks!!!:nana2: Some of the stats are 240-270 kt cruise 330 kts max, -3 to +7 g's (get to wear speed jeans), 0-0 ejection seat (always nice to have), full glass cockpit, and OBOGS system. I have attached some other pics I took that flight.

First: is my form partner, he is my bro and is also going Prowlers.
Second: me
Third: the glass cockpit
Fourth: my buddy again as dash 2,
Last: hard to see but we are on a low level at 500' 270kts following a river just north of Mobile Bay.
 
Sweet pics! LOL you are spoiled with the glass cockpit and all, the War Pig will be a step down! I guess that's why they make you get your steam gauge reality check in T-39's! Just wait til you fly with a nugget pilot from T-45C's who is a "HUD cripple"! :)

:yeahthat: Cracks me up. Gotta love stick monkeys. Are you kidding they do a great job prepping us, the T-2 has only a Tacan and one UHF radio.
At least the T-39 has three radios, VOR, Tacan, and an EHSI. Just FYI they are talking about replacing both T-39's and T-2's with T-45's. I have always liked the thought that the T-6, my first military aircraft, was the most technologically advanced. :sarcasm:
