Can anyone recommend a good place to get a Single Engine Sea add-on to my commercial ticket in the New England area?

thanks

They will even let you rent an airplane solo after you get your license.

I personally haven't gotten training there, but i've flown 'normal' airplanes into their field, and have heard nothing but good things.

Up in Greenville, there is Folsoms and Curriers, There is even a published NDB approach there. Don't know about instruction, but I would assume they do it.

Click on your state. Shows rates and all. From what I recall from 3 years ago Maryland has the cheapest. When you finish you will wanna throw rocks at wheel planes. Well, I did at least because it's what I always wanted to fly. The fun times are ahead of you my friend.

One of my college roommates did his sea rating at Twitchell's and good things to say about the place.

As OldTownPilot as mentioned they do rent the airplanes to people that have the minimum 10 hours in seaplanes for insurance.

Jack Brown's seaplane base has a good reputation with low rates if you traveling to Fl. Maryland has the cheapest in that region still I believe.

There are very few operations that will rent a seaplane to you after you get a SES add on, another one being in TX. The insurance on these things are the killer. To insure a C-185 you need at least 100 float time or over 3000 TT and 50 float.
