See ya'll later

Re: See ya\'ll later

Animaniacs just entered my mind:

Ist das nicht ein Schnitzelbank? Ja das ist eine Schnitzelbank...

But still hope you're having a great time.

May I make a suggestion? Before you leave Wien head up to Prauge!!! Seriously it will blow everything else out of the water. Also I would suggest heading east, perhaps Bratislava and work your way into some of the old eastern eu cities---much cheaper, less touristy (and in many ways more interesting than some of the western capitals). I also like the austrian countryside (esp western austria)...maybe you can still catch a few runs in innsbruck!

Then head down to Istanbul and smoke a hookah for your homies back here--it would be a perfect place for you guys.

Keep posting, I need someone to live vicariously through! Mach spass und gute reise!

vienna has been fantastic though, we met a fellow JC'er here and he took about 5 hours and showed us the real non-tourist city today and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Really nice guy! (i'll post pics when we get home)

Tomorrow we head to Trieste in Italy to visit some of my family and then down to Rome on Tuesday.

Re: See ya\'ll later

Yeah unfortantly we had to be real structured to see much here, so we've only got so much time in a few city's. Next time, though!

Maurice (the dude in Vienna) is an absolute badass!!!

I haven't been in a metro station anywhere that doesn't smell like piss! Except in Switzerland, those were fairly nose-friendly.

Re: See ya\'ll later

Madrid does indeed have one nice metro, actually I thought it was one of the high points of Madrid.

Sounds like you guys are having a great time in VIE. You're gonna love Italy even more. Are you taking the train all the way down to Rome?

Prague is beautiful. Stayed there for a week in March, 2001. While I'm not one to quickly throw in the classical music, we got to attend a concert at the Prague Castle put on by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra which was an absolutely awesome experience.

Would love to visit Vienna then make my way out to Salzburg and other country towns.

Keep enjoying the trip guys! Be safe!

Re: See ya\'ll later

And the one in DC doesn't smell too bad either. Well, late at night, the trash cans can smell like puke, though.

Re: See ya\'ll later

I really enjoyed meeting you, Emily and John, I had a great time! Be sure to stay longer in Vienna for the next time you come. There's so much more to see...but I think you can make yourself a pretty good 'picture' from Vienna considering the short time.

I hope you have good times for the rest of your trip and enjoy Trieste e Roma!

Oh, and BTW for all of you who haven't been here before: Vienna is a very clean city..probably one of the cleanest cities in Europe.

Re: See ya\'ll later

We made it back, in one piece relatively unscathed. Pictures will be up shortly (I hope). Trieste and Rome were cool places, I really enjoyed meeting my relatives (they live in trieste, italy).

Re: See ya\'ll later

Word, Europe rocked it. I've decided it was majorly badass instead of kind of badass after I recovered from the flight home.

Pictures are coming as soon as I can get a web page up for it.
