The general tone I'm hearing is that it will pass, anyone on the inside care to opine
Yeah, the SAPA forums are charitably categorized as a pissing match.Out on the line it seems like people are fairly satisfied with it. You'll always have the guys that think they can do better and have the company in the palm of their hand with the current first year pay issue. I try and steer clear of the company forums so I can't comment on what the latest is there, but it seems like this one has a much better chance of passing than the last one.
Is it 50/50 or a majority that don't like it?Just got off a 4 day and general consensus from everyone I flew with/jumpseated seems 50/50. Most are voting no, but they wouldn't be irked if it passes.
Guys like to talk the talk but when voting happens they all vote yes. This will easily pass with 70% yes. No doubt. Is it 50/50 or a majority that don't like it?

Nothing? She also wants to know "what is it with pilots and Subarus?"
They're lesbians.Nothing?
This was true for the last one too as I was allowed to vote. I had started sims but most in the class had not.Mark815 said:So did anyone else see the change that occurred for when a pilot can vote? Seems now that new hires can vote based on DOH vs passing a chckride first, meaning even those in ground school can suddenly vote. Seems to have been changed after the previous 'NO' vote.
Your ego apparently can, so anything is possible!![]()
Presumably, off wherever the leadership of DALPA are, licking their collective wounds.
Flop house?I hope this one passes. It's a good deal, not a great deal, but a good deal. Some junior FOs would be good for everyone. Most of the pay package is minor inprovements, but we need to continue to fill classes and we really need to hire quality pilots.
I don't want to be flying with they guy they finally hired because they had no other options, who is now poor; sleeping in some flop house, eating potato chips for breakfast.
