Seaport Airlines hiring 500hr mins

They will hire lower if needed. Hired a 390TT guy here in Nashville a few months ago. But obviously they will pick from they >500TT pool first.

Probably not too easy since they only fly San Diego, Imperial, and Burbank. I have always heard of guys starting Memphis and transferring when an opening becomes available

Figured it'd be senior but it's hard to know with the cost of living. I know they're cass, but are the schedules actually somewhat commutable or is it pretty much not worth trying?

That I couldn't answer, don't actually work them, just have friends that do. I know a couple that live in Nashville and commute to Memphis. Not sure how far your trying to commute, but their schedules are pretty good with your days off grouped together.

Any recent updates on what their pay scale is like? I've thought about applying, but I imagine it's even worse than a first year 121 FO.

Last time I heard is $20/hr for FOs. They fly a lot, but I am sure first year 121 FO pay is still better

They used to offer per diem, but guess they stopped a few years ago

What are the odds of a 900hr guy getting SAN and upgrading in a few months? Possible? Already have the all the 135 mins except TT.

I'm thinking about it (I have around 850tt). Is anything they do commutable or would a I likely be looking at re-locating to Memphis?

I wouldn't count on it. The only new-hire F/O that got KSAN off the bat is on reserve. I don't think they need anymore than that right now. Not a lot of routes (although there is rumored to be more routes opening soon). Most of the F/Os at SAN came from Memphis w/ 6-9 months of experience.

Eh, people can see their own value in it. I said the same things about a friend of mine who went to SIC in a caravan, and now he's flying at my first pick of airline. Guess I should have joined him.

Are captain mins for scheduled 135 1500, or am I just imagining that? I don't have my FARs handy. I'm at 1,000 so I'm curious if a relatively quick upgrade would be possible.

You would upgrade very quick. 1200 total with a few other requirements thrown in.
