Seaport Airlines hiring 500hr mins

No, sorry I go the letter for "not" catching the scheduling error. Someone else caught it and stopped me before I could do the flight.

That makes more sense.

I don't think it was letter of reprimand worthy though. Unless is severely disrupted the operation.

Even then... bring the pilot in for a little retraining, make it a positive learning experience rather than negative disciplinary event.

Well anything over 1200 and a heart beat........

For an FO competitive is anything close to that in the period you are applying for. So if 10 people apply for the Jan class who have 500 hours and you apply as the 11th person and have 800 hours, you'll be a shoe in. But if you apply and have 400 hours and the other 10 have 500 hours you'll be low on the list.

I have just 800 hours now and counting :-)

As I've said before put your application in. Worst thing they can do is say no or not call you.

Although I will warn you, we've just lowered our flights for the winter schedule so I don't know if we have a need for FOs right now. Most FOs are flying less than 20 hours a week, some less than 15. But come March when we start back up our spring/summer schedule, look out nancy! PDX will add 4 cities in the spring (Seattle, Moses Lake, Port Angeles and a 4th yet to be named) and we have some other exciting news coming soon. So if you can hold out till Feb/Mar it might be a better time to apply.

I did apply in October I live in Puget Sound region not far from Seattle so very excited about the news. I work full time and a little part time as an instructor. Yes so far nothing from Seaport.
I did call and speak with HR and she updated my total time. Maybe next spring who knows!

Since they are starting service to Seattle, does that also mean they will base pilots in Seattle?

From SeaPort web page

"SeaPort Airlines will start service from Port Angeles, WA and Moses Lake, WA to Seattle, WA beginning March 1, 2016. Additional service will be offered between Moses Lake, WA and Portland, OR. Reservations will be available to purchase beginning November 15... "

They also list they are hiring pilots in case anyone here wants to know

Application submitted in October still no word with 804 total time, 182 x-country, 106 instrument, inst current, etc...

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't heard a word about the 2 per-diem checks from June and July that I still haven't received. I've emailed accounting and my former boss to no avail. Oh well...

I guess you concern is a better one than mine we may want to fly but we also want to be paid. Good luck
