wondering how many guys are tripping themselves to pickup trips a measly 150%.

Company should have went to the union first to discuss how to unscrew the situation. It should be a minimum of 200% pay....

And a lot of folks are going to get JM'ed.

I'll be commuting home on the 25th. Trying to think of something to bring with me to give to the crew.

Some fine chocolates for the FAs.?

Starbucks GC for the Pilots?

Do they even have that as an option in their CBA. Ours is max 2x a year

You never have to answer your phone... there are only time you have to respond. :)

One of our own here messaged me on facebook tonight saying it was fake news. That makes me laugh on a few different levels.. particularly since my best friend dropped his entire December schedule when this happened and sent me a text... "dude... you wouldn't believe what my December looks like now."

also don't be the DB to call your buddy and tell him CS is assigning him xyz. Yes, I have had CS, at a previous carrier, ask pilots and myself to do just that. Sorry, I don't play that game...

Looking at open time not many. 300-400% is attainable. APA has (for once) done a good job educating the pilot group even putting out a robocall

Well it's no where near that amount, I have no idea where they got that number from. It might be 10% of that at best.

Because media... 15,000 pilots = 15,000 flights.... right?

Kind of like how flight instructors make $105,000 a year because $50 an hour for flight instruction x 40 hours a work week x 52 weeks a year equals $104,000... right?

Well APA and management have come to an agreement. Details to follow.

Can’t wait to see the LOS blowhards flip out when it’s not part of the agreement.

Hah... You assume junior manning is something American has the ability to do.

Right? I got into an internet catfight with people (no idea who) who claimed that American could just "junior man" enough pilots to cover it.

I mean, I saw Mesa pilots bailing out before the agent attached the jet bridge on the final leg because they knew the company would use CS to notify them...but that's mid-2000's Mesa. Not 2017 American.

just heard on the news last night...The union and mgmt agreed. AA pilots will get 200% for certain trips during the scheduling screw up periods...
