Scary: Early Outs at Delta

Maybe Dough should take the early out and then beat Kit Darby at his own game.....

"I was hired at SouthernJets at 26 and I'll show you how to do it for just 4 payments of $99.99! Dial now, Operators are standing by!"

Get some of us to be home based "operators" for a percentage and we'll have a veritable mint.....

Nah. if they did and I could afford one, I'd certainly take it!

I heard that it wasn't a very attractive package they were offering... How many pilots do you think will take it?

If I could afford a LOA, I'd take about a year off because I'm hella burned out.

Same here. I wouldn't have guessed the # to even be that high.

"Here's $5 and some sucky passes. Wanna retire?"
"Um, no. Akshully."

Here's a question. If planning is as surprised as we are that it took relatively little to get a decent # of guys to retire do you think they might be inclined to make another more lucrative overture?

"Here's $100K a year until you die, and S3B instead of S3. Wanna retire?"

Yes.

242? Not saying your wrong, but Flt Ops was in the lounge saying 121. Maybe you heard it twice?

Don't forget too, this wasn't designed to induce pilots to leave. It was for the other employee groups. You know, the one's that still have a pension. The pilots weren't even allowed to participate in the beginning, until the union forced the issue.

That was from the operations newsletter thingy. I can't remember what they call it or even why I read it! ;)

Because behind your über-hip, urban, DGAS attitude, you are Captain Deltoid. But it does figure that those jackwagons can't get their talking points straight.
