Yup. Most of them are a bunch of nut cases. I am all for treating animals right. But some of them are just plain out of touch with reality.

As it should be. I'll probably get slammed for this, but I say let the airport die. Not because I don't like the place, but because I am sick of hearing about all the neighbors complaning about an airpoart that has been there since before there was houses. Look at pictures of the place from way back, when the runway ran from one corner of the property to another, no houses. I hate to say it, but I think they are going to eventually win this one. And the money spent fighting the closure could go elsewhere. It's like trying to save a terminally ill cancer paitent. They are eventually going to die, so just make them comfortable on the way out.
