Smal plane down near Chicago

So far I can't find any articles but the 24-hour news channel on here says it was a cargo Lear operated by Royal Air?...

CNN has been showing a overhead shot of 10 people just standing and the river bank looking at the plane for 10 minutes now. Do some work or move along.

Someone get this doosh off of TV.

"The fact that it was a cargo airplane, what does that indicate to you?"

".............that it carries cargo....."

What a dumb effing question.

[/rant]

Still hoping for the best. Doesn't look good. :(

The 35 and KA100 are used for charter. The E110, C310 and 24/25 are their cargo haulers. At least that was what it was a year or two ago.

I dropped some stuff off up there last winter. IIRC, at that time things were as Erik suggests. I wouldn't be surprised if we should be crossing our fingers for more than 2 people. :(

2 fatalities according to the discussion the flightaware boards. I'm crossing my fingers that this isn't true.

If it is, my condolences and payers go out to the family and friends of the crew.

Doesn't look good....that's about 2 miles north of where I live and about 5 miles north of where I work. Hopefully they find some survivors. :(
