And yet girls have the gall to want to drive a wedge into the relationship because money's tight?
Seriously, there are soooo many women who need an attitude adjustment in this regard. Too many who gauge how much their S.O. loves them by how much money is spent on them. Engagement diamond not bigger'n a carat? He must not love you very much. Doesn't spend $50 once a week on flowers that will be dead in 3-4 days? He must not love you very much. Doesn't give you
carte blanche use of credit card(s) solely for shopping purposes? Must not love you very much. Better find someone who WILL prove their love by squandering money on frivolities, instead of on boring non-devotionally-demonstrative things like house, car and student loan payments!
[/ QUOTE ]yup.. but that's what happens, in some cases... girls HAVE TO go thru an attitude adjustment in most cases to get past that type of thinking. Guys need to go thru an adjustment of their own, trying to figure out how to please and keep the girl without having to spend buku bucks.. there are ways.. it takes little things, little inventions, creative ideas whether touchy feely or mental/emotionally... if we (girls) didn't think you (guys) were worth it, it would definately be a breaking point.
not to speak for all girls in general but - not that we want to drive the wedge, but that we all - boys and girls alike - (in the stages of *dating*) tend to think about cows and milk.. the guys say "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free (ha ha ha)" and the girls say "why should we give the milk for nothing in return (ha ha ha)"... it's a pretty vicious cycle and puberty, dating along with guy/girl peer pressure helps in solidifying that type of thinking...it's not till later on that something clues you in to the reality of life! haha
