RJ FO budgeting

There are some exceptions. I love the look of the Ineos Grenadier, and it’s actually very very capable off-road.

I saw a sign on a building for them driving north out of the San Francisco area and all I could think of is why does a European bicycle racing team have an warehouse in Sausalito, CA?

I tried to have a stay cation today in honor of doing military stuff that is now on hold for probably a few more days at least. I celebrated by demo'ing a built in shelving unit in my garage that was installed using screw nails (nail screws? the ones with nail heads but screw bodies), and every board was attached this way, generally from every possible angle. Supports were driven into the garage drywall with this too, virtually ensuring that the drywall would be damaged in the process of removal. The guy who built this is dead, but I told my wife I hoped he is burning in hell. Celebration ended with me taking a large board to the shin and a nail head slicing deep. I called it quits for the day and went to get some stitches. Tomorrow is a new day though. Only way to get the new car home.......I do plan to wear pants and a long sleeve shirt tomorrow though, and I'm over halfway done at least.....save probably hiring someone to fix the drywall damage. F**** doing sheetrock
Drywall is easy… watch some YouTube with a six pack and you’ll be as good as the best “rocker” in your neighborhood.

Sheetrock is an art when it's done well and I think everyone should try it at least once, same with framing or any sort of foundation work. You never know until you try right? It sucks to pay twice as much to repair your missteps unless you think glaring flaws in your home add character.

In 1968/69 they had the 300 SEL 6.3 which was an earlier version - sedan/bigger V-8 and that's the one I want now but the 450 6.9 was a cooler car. When I was a 15 year old my heart was set on that AMG Hammer - where AMG turned a 300E into a Porsche/Ferrari killer. That is the car I wanted the most.

I know a guy who has a *couple* Hammers. I'll just say he bought low.......what an incredible car. One of them is a w124 wagon (I believe 280TE when it rolled off the factory line and went to Affalterbach to get the 6.0L).

Moot point anyway, my 4Runner will probably never die.

buddy of mine just bought a Grenadier, I guess as some sort of combined present to himself for upgrading at ya'lls shop, and also getting his divorce finalized. It's really nice. He also has an old land cruiser as an overlanding device, which is probably even nicer
