RIP ASA

So I just talked to a guy over there. They aren't getting shut down, and they aren't being forced to SkyWest. Apparently, there is some language in the SkyWest "contract" that they can move over there if they'd like.

You don't go posting chit like this @Der_Meister without truly knowing WTF is going on. It puts guys like me into a near panic over nothing. I have a lot of buddies there still. I hear second and third hand rumors all the time, and keep my mouth shut because it doesn't belong coming out of my face hole.

I'm pretty sure that is what happened to the Lynx guys when RAH bought them. One of the captains I flew with when I was there was like 15 yrs seniority but on 7th year captain pay. They were stapled to the bottom of the list, kept longevity but started from day 1 on pay and seniority.

Either way, good luck to the guys at ASA that this isn't true!

Wow that sounds terrible for Lynx! Thank goodness the rumor wasn't true. I just talked to my buddy over there and all is well!

Maybe @Derg should consider just deleting this thread before it gets longer, and longer, and people who work at ASA or have friends there see this "RIP ASA" thread with 7 pages and have a heart attack...

This is thread, given that it was based off of "well I heard", is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on this board. And that is a statement.

By page 7 we'd be on to an entirely different subject. Like food trucks, or best beer discovered during 2016.

I haven't had anything good in months...
