Retirement must be super boring.

We had Larry Fitzgerald for a few years.

I still have no idea what the involvement was.

This just seems ill-advised.

"Partnering" with a former NFL player is a thing done by a regional car dealership or a slightly-shady mortgage lender. It uses their fame to gain attention and hope maybe some of their adoration and caché reflects onto them for more customers.

Why on Earth does Delta think they need any of that?!

One month he's starring in Mr Beast videos, the next he's steering Delta into the proper long term direction. The Goat knows all.

Delta NOTAM: Pilots, double check your tire pressures before each flight.

I don't know.

He's actually not the first and certainly not the only. The Air Line partnered with I think it was Larry Fitzgerald of the Phoenix Cardinals. Arizona Cardinals?

(obviously not a sports guy I am)

Re. the thread title: Retirement is definitely NOT boring unless one is a dolt without interest or passion🤷‍♂️
My dad has been president of the local youth soccer organization for 28 years and very involved with Kiwanis for about the same amount of time. He is still going strong and he turned 80 this year. His hobbies keep him going. PSA: get a hobby, or several.

What's not to Love?? It's just a part of the basic structure of 'Murican marketing these days. SBF also "partnered" with the foosball playa and his wife-du-jour.

I think Alaskan Airlines paying Russell Wilson some exorbitant amount of money to be the “Chief Football Officer” was more ridiculous.
