Why would you turn down an interview? At least go, do your best, ask questions, and inform yourself, then make a decision. Just sayin'.
 
What is this I hear about E-Jet sims being backed up to the point where RAH is thinking about sending new hires to Paris, France for sim?

There was talk of that during my class in the Spring but it didn't happen, I don't think there is as much hiring in the 170 as the 145 and the Q.

This. I'm in the same boat. 2 years of spending 8+months/year living in a plywood box surrounded by razor wire and going to a regional starts to look like a sane idea.
 
News today, there is no longer a training contract on the Q400 or E145, there remains one in place for the 170 since the sim for it is in such demand... just passing info along!

Hopefully this trend continues... this will definitely be a big bargaining tool for a new contract!
 
Also appears that The ERJ140 will be placed at Delta. So appears some of the rumors of 145s going to AA and 140s going to Delta are at the very least, partially true.
 
I see that they dropped their mins back to 1200 from 1500TT. Seems like they would drop those multi mins down some before they did the TT. Or are the multi mins transparent?

Yeah I didn't think that would happen either... DL getting smaller RJs? I wonder what the thought process behind that was? Are we still parking the 135s by years end?

Im not sure what 135s are still out there. I think DL is taking 9 E140s. Probably gave them a 'blue light' special .

They're flexible AFAIK... as long as you can make 1500TT by next August. 1000-1200? probably okay, 400-500? meh not so much. Internal rec's go a long way too! :D
